30

In honor of the Timmy's 30th birthday today, I'm going to list 30 things about him that make him who he is. To me, at least.

Such a cute baby

1. His lame silly jokes

2. How hard working he is

3. His modesty

4. He's such an awesome drummer. Seriously, he rocks.

5. He love the Lord.

6. He loves me.

7. He secretly acts goofy about the dogs when I'm not around.

8. He loves children.

9. Extension of #8, he is so good with babies and children. He's going to be such a great father some day.

10. He's willing to watch Glee. Not because he likes it, but because I do. (Secretly, I think he likes it, too.)

11. He is up for adventure.

12. He takes care of me when I need it (see: diabetes [see also: miscarriage])

13. He is so smart

14. He loves both of our families.

15. "Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-U!"

16. He tries to grow flowers for me, even though they usually die.

17. He tries to be a better man.

18. He tries to make me happy, even at his own expense. (I wish he'd let me do the same for him.)

19. He tries to help me become a better person.

20. He'll eat whatever I cook, even though he may prefer other things.

21. He has sensitive skin like I do, so he'll pay more for the more expensive soaps and detergents that we need.

22. He loves his friends.

23. He likes to wear flip flops.

24. He's a romantic. Don't let him tell you different.

25. When we were discussing baby names back before that discussion wasn't needed any time soon, he suggested the wonderful names that we will be (hopefully) using someday.

26. He likes comedy.

27. He is so easygoing.

28. He willingly volunteers his time to help others.

29. He married me. ;)

30. He just loves.

And I love him more every day for these reasons.

But why did it smell like Egg Nog?

Guess what I did today.

If you follow me on twitter (@jemini602), you know that I painted our 3rd bedroom. It's been empty for a few months and I've been meaning to paint it now, instead of later. The Timmy bought the paint for me to do it back in January, but I just kept putting it off. It was taped and ready to paint for a few weeks now, just waiting for the paint.

Not anymore. My best friend in the entire world is coming to see me next weekend and I thought that it was high time to finally paint the room. So I did.

Here it is with a nice coat of "Mermaid Treasure".
It's more turquoisey aqua in person

Very nice.
But my big question is: Why did the paint smell like egg nog? Seriously.
