Selah says buy: Red Stamp iPhone App

I was recently introduced to the free Red Stamp app via Pinterest and I LOVE IT. It's such a cute way to send a quick note or message to somebody, especially personalized thank you notes for gifts for your baby.

The app isn't just for thank you notes. You can also send notes of congratulations or quick hellos. These can be sent electronically (free) or through the mail ($2 for 1, but the price goes down to $1 if you want to send a lot).

I wish I had this when Selah was born for quick thank you notes for meals dropped off or gifts mailed (before I forgot to send them in a timely manner). I'll definitely use this with the next.

Go get it now. You'll love it even if you don't need it for kid's thank you notes. :)

I feel like the mailman

Yesterday, after I finished watching this cutie, I went by our favorite UPS Store. This one is owned by the same people that own the Grapevine, the wine bar we often frequent. We try to give them business whenever we can, whether it's at the wine bar or at the UPS Store.

Well, back to my story... I went to the UPS Store because I had several packages to mail off. One (or more) of these didn't contain anything special, but I hope the contents are appreciated. One of the packages is beginning it's journey across the ocean and into the desert. Hopefully it will arrive there in decent condition. It's nothing more than some candy and wishes and letting him know we are thinking of him and that we love him.

The other two packages aren't traveling as far, but they are just as important. To me, at least. I'm not saying who they were going to since I know they read this blog and I want there to be a little bit of a surprise when they open the mailbox. One of those packages is a little something for someone who isn't technically part of the family yet, but will be soon. I know how it feels to be a step and I will never consider her one. She is real. I'll make this less cryptic in a later post.

I'll just say now that the unnamed packages are going to Florida and Oklahoma, but not to people with the initials MW or TE. You guys were not forgotten, just not part of this shipment. :)
