Ohemgee!

This is too fricking cute!

This makes me deliriously happy. In fact, it makes me so happy that I'm making it #52 on my list of things that I am thankful for/ make me smile.

I want a penguin even more now. :) :) :)

I feel like the mailman

Yesterday, after I finished watching this cutie, I went by our favorite UPS Store. This one is owned by the same people that own the Grapevine, the wine bar we often frequent. We try to give them business whenever we can, whether it's at the wine bar or at the UPS Store.

Well, back to my story... I went to the UPS Store because I had several packages to mail off. One (or more) of these didn't contain anything special, but I hope the contents are appreciated. One of the packages is beginning it's journey across the ocean and into the desert. Hopefully it will arrive there in decent condition. It's nothing more than some candy and wishes and letting him know we are thinking of him and that we love him.

The other two packages aren't traveling as far, but they are just as important. To me, at least. I'm not saying who they were going to since I know they read this blog and I want there to be a little bit of a surprise when they open the mailbox. One of those packages is a little something for someone who isn't technically part of the family yet, but will be soon. I know how it feels to be a step and I will never consider her one. She is real. I'll make this less cryptic in a later post.

I'll just say now that the unnamed packages are going to Florida and Oklahoma, but not to people with the initials MW or TE. You guys were not forgotten, just not part of this shipment. :)

I was born and raised in Georgia, but.....

Apparently, I sound like I wasn't.

Move over, T. There's another man in my life.

I've recently acquired a position nannying for some friends a couple of days a week. They have a 4 month old son, M. Baby M is a joy to watch. He is such a sweet, happy boy. Well, unless he's ready to eat or finish eating. Then he's not messing around. Eating is serious business, you know.

So cute and such a flirt!

Ellie Belly

I often post about my Izzie, but not often do I show pictures about our other dog Ellie. Ellie is an Australian Shepherd/ Black Lab mix. This means she has the extreme energy of one breed and the extreme stamina of the other. This dog never stops. Seriously. You should see our backyard from her running in circles and all of the windows on the back of our house from her jumping on them. Disaster area.

But enough of the negative. Here are some pictures of Monster Ellie being cute.

Bath day. Drying out in the sun. :)

Already dirty, but she loves being in the grass. T cut the grass minutes later.
From Winter: She would just lay in the snow, chewing her bone.

She liked to dig her head down in the snow. Notice the snow on her nose.

Her favorite hobby: Watching TV. See the back of her head in the lower left side of photo. Here she is watching The Jungle Book, but Glee is her favorite thing to watch, along with almost any musical.

Let it be
